I am a 4th year PhD candidate in the Transatlantic History program at the University of Texas at Arlington. My areas of interest include cultural history, transnational history, intercultural transfer, and medieval history. My dissertation focuses on Dr. John Harvey Kellogg and his involvement with health reforms in Europe and America during the late nineteenth and early twentieth centuries.
Outside of academia my hobbies include music (I play both the traditional and Native American flute) and art (I draw and sometimes paint). I am also currently taking lessons to play the pipe organ.
